First Christian Church web site
FCC hadn’t had a website in a very long time, so I took it upon myself to build one during my off hours. Part of the challenge the church had faced in putting a site together in the past had been the difficulty of collecting content from the many different groups and leaders involved in the community. Because of that, I convinced the pastor to go with a single-page informational site for the time being, something that answered the most important questions someone looking for a church in the area might have.
I designed and coded the site using HTML5 and CSS3, with fluid widths and media queries in place to make the page responsive. I also used a bit of jQuery to enhance the site’s behavior.
A full website, one that meets all of the church’s needs, is in the early stages right now.
